Air Monitor Corporation (AMC) Environmental Management Policy
The following statements of principles and intentions comprise the Environmental Policy of Air Monitor Corporation, which applies to all activities of the organization’s Santa Rosa campus.
One of our objectives is to establish and maintain a management system that meets the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and achieve and retain status as a registered company of assessed capability. Risks and opportunities to the business will be considered, and resultant objectives shall be established and evaluated during strategy planning and management review.
Scope
Air Monitor designs and manufactures airflow measurement systems for the commercial HVAC, industrial process, and power generation markets.
Our team members work within the environmental management system as described in our documented policies and procedures.
Principles
- We are committed to the design, application, and supply of airflow measurement systems and related instrumentation for commercial and industrial applications.
- We recognize that our activities result in both direct and indirect impacts on the environment.
- We are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our operations through a program of environmental protection, pollution prevention, and continual improvement of environmental performance.
Commitments
- Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, regulation and industrial standards.
- Manage waste using environmental best practices.
- Minimize the amount of waste disposed of, seek to recover through re-use or recycling and ensure the remainder is disposed of properly.
- Minimize the use of energy, water and other resources through monitoring and increasing the efficiency of use.
- Communicate to team members and relevant interested parties our policy and achievements in improving our waste management and environmental performance.
- Ensure all team members are aware of their individual responsibility to act in accordance with the policy.
- Set environmental objectives and targets.
- Implement plans to address those aspects of activities that have significant environmental impacts.
- Review periodically our objectives, targets, action plans and overall environmental performance.
Management is committed to providing the necessary resources needed for the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the environmental management system.
Responsibility and Authority
The leadership team assigns responsibility and authority for ensuring that the environmental management system conforms to the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard and reporting results on the performance of the environmental management system, including environmental performance.
