Air Monitor’s S.A.P. is a shielded sensor design created for space or room pressurization applications such as a negative pressure isolation room or an AIIR. To protect vulnerable patients it is essential that both the static pressure level within a space, and that of a reference pressure (corridor, adjacent space, outdoor location, etc.) be accurately sensed.
The shielded probe design ensures that the pressure can be accurately measured free of pulsations or effects of air movement in the vicinity of the sensing probe(s).
These probes sense static pressure in the proximity of the sensor to within 1% of the actual pressure valve while being subjected to a maximum airflow of 1,000 FPM from a 360° radial source.
DPT-100
The DPT-100 Pressure & Flow Transmitter is designed to measure differential pressure and calculate airflow with high precision, making it ideal for a wide range of HVAC applications. It features a temperature-compensated piezoresistive measuring element that ensures excellent long-term stability. Even the smallest pressure differences are accurately detected, providing outstanding reliability and measurement accuracy.
The DPT-100 offers freely adjustable measuring ranges and can be easily configured via integrated buttons and the display interface.

VELTRON III Transmitter
The VELTRON III Pressure & Airflow Transmitter is a multi-functional, dual-channel transmitter specifically designed for HVAC airflow measurement applications. The flexible design can be combined with any differential or static pressure measurement probes, stations, piezo rings, or traverse-style fan inlet probes.
Typical applications include supply ducted airflow, return ducted airflow, and room and space pressurization.

To maintain the desired differential pressure between a small anteroom and its associated cleanroom or isolation room requires accurate room pressure monitors and airflow control systems.
The sensed pressures from both rooms are transmitted to a measurement and control station or Building Automation System (BAS). This system continually adjusts the airflow to the isolation room to maintain critical pressurization requirements.
In some situations, the isolation room or space may require a positive pressure relative to the anteroom to keep out pollutants. In the case of an isolation room, a negative pressurization is maintained. This air should be exhausted directly outside to keep airborne germs away from the general population.
