ELECTRA-flo 5 Series Thermal Airflow Measurement System
Air Monitor’s ELECTRA-flo 5 Series thermal dispersion airflow measurement instruments accurately measure airflow and temperature in commercial HVAC systems for applications such as indoor air quality management.
The system features insertion-style probes with a daisy chain probe connection and a single home run cable connection to the transmitter.

ELECTRA-flo/CM Thermal Airflow Measurement Station
This airflow measurement station provides all of the benefits of the ELECTRA-flo 5 system inside of a fully flanged probe casing that allows for a quick installation by bolting it in line with the duct. Comes with a honeycomb air straightener to give high accuracy in limited duct straight-run situations.
FAN-E Pitot Airflow Measurement Traverse Station
This pitot technology airflow station comes welded inside an aluminum flanged casing that allows for a quick and easy installation. The station consists of probe arrays mounted in fan inlets or ducts capable of continuously measuring the air volume/velocity and airflow temperature. Included are honeycomb airflow straighteners that reduce the need for duct straight run.

VOLU-probe/VS Pitot Airflow Measurement Traverse Station
The VOLU-probe/VS Station is licensed to bear the AMCA Certified Ratings Seal for Airflow Measurement Station Performance. This certification ensures extremely accurate airflow measurements (2% of actual flow or better) under turbulent, rotating, and multi-directional air flows normally present in discharge ducts.
This airflow station features pitot sensors welded inside an aluminum flanged casing, allowing for quick and easy installation in line with the ductwork.

Ducted Airflow Measurement Solutions
Accurate measurements of airflow in building ducts provide the real-time, actionable information required for the safe, code-compliant, and efficient operation of today’s high-performance buildings.
Many duct configurations present challenges where there isn’t enough straight run before and after the measurement station to allow accurate airflow readings. In these situations, adding open, parallel cell, honeycomb panels to “process” the air can straighten the flow just before the total pressure measurement plane.
In these situations, adding an Air Monitor provided air straightener in the airflow station can help smooth out the turbulent airflow profile just before the total pressure measurement plane to improve the airflow measurement.
Thermal probes, such as those found in the Electra-flo 5 Series, will require maintenance if they get too dirty, so it’s important to add access points for these installations. Also, thermal probes cannot work in areas with excessive moisture in the system – in those cases, pitot sensors should be used, such as in the VOLU-probe/VS Pitot Airflow Measurement Traverse Station.
